How to Change the Numbers NetZero Uses to Connect to the Internet
- 1). Open the NetZero software. For most users, a shortcut icon is located on the desktop. Double-click it to open NetZero.
- 2). Click "Settings" at the opening welcome screen. In the window that opens, click the "Locations" button to open a list of currently configured phone numbers for your NetZero account.
- 3). Click the profile that contains your Internet modem connection settings. A list of buttons is enabled underneath the profiles box. Click "Modify" to edit your current home settings.
- 4). Click the "Continue" button at the "Set-Up a Dialing Location" screen. The next window displayed has a list of available phone numbers for your location. Check the box next to each number you want to use to connect to NetZero.
- 5). Click the "Continue" button. The final screen lists the newly configured phone numbers. Click "Finish" to save your settings.
