It contains lactobacteria which is a bacterial culture that helps to grow healthy bacteria which fights off diseases and bacteria of the colon. The calcium content of yogurt not only helps build strong bones but also fights hard against the bacteria leading to colon cancers.

    Boost Immunity

    • Studies have shown that eating two cups (16 oz.) of yogurt a day will boost your body's natural immunity to sickness and diseases. The stronger your immune system is, the higher chance you have of fighting off infections.     • Women have two types of cholesterol; LDL and HDL. LDL is known as "bad" cholesterol while HDL is known as "good" cholesterol. By eating just 3 oz. of yogurt a day, women have shown to decrease the amount of bad cholesterol and increase the amount of good cholesterol which helps to improve overall health.
