How to Convert iTunes to WMA for a Mac
- 1). Download and install the trial version of TuneClone (see Resources). TuneClone allows you to convert .mp4 files to .wma files for free, provided you get the trial version. It will also allow you to convert .wma or .mp4 files to the more traditional .mp3 file. If you choose to purchase TuneClone, it costs $34.95 as of October 2010.
- 2). Download WMA MP3 Converter, found in the resource section. Don't let the name fool you; while it can convert both .wma and .mp3 files, it also can convert .mp4 files into .wma files. WMA MP3 Converter available as a free trial; as of October 2010 it costs $19.95.
- 3). Download and install River Past Audio Converter. The program is available as a free trial, or can be purchased for $29.95 as of October 2010. The program does most of the heavy lifting; you select the .mp4 to convert, choose an output (in this case .wma), then click "Convert."
