Adding Facebook Chat to ICQ
While Facebook Chat is fun, staying signed in to the social network is not always the most ideal situation. Fortunately, ICQ users can now close the window and say hello to Facebook friends directly from their desktop IM client.
If you desire to chat with Facebook friends directly from the ICQ Buddy List, select the menu (as illustrated above), then "Contacts," and then "Connect ICQ with Facebook!"

Allow ICQ to Access Facebook
Next, Facebook users must allow ICQ to access their social networking accounts.
If you are not signed in, enter your Facebook email address and password, and sign in to your account. Then, click the blue "Allow" button to continue connecting ICQ and Facebook.
Add Facebook to Your ICQ Feeds
Next, Facebook users can opt to add access to their Wall through ICQ, for instantaneous, real-time access to the latest from your friends and more.
Click the blue "Continue" button to continue, when prompted, or click "Close" to opt-out from adding Facebook to your ICQ feeds.

Next, Facebook users must allow ICQ to access your social networking profile and account.
Click the blue "Allow" button to continue adding Facebook to ICQ Feeds.
Facebook is Now Connected to ICQ Feeds
Your Facebook profile is now connected to ICQ Feeds, giving you real time access to status messages, comments, photos and more!
Ready to use Facebook Chat on ICQ?
Your online and offline Facebook Chat contacts will now appear on your Buddy List. To send an ICQ IM, double-click on your Facebook contact's name, and begin sending your messages in the window provided.
If you have hundreds of Facebook friends, your ICQ Buddy List can get a little hard to manage, as these settings herein will add both online and offline contacts to your contacts.
However, in the ICQ Settings panel, users can customize their Buddy List to show only online Facebook contacts, as illustrated above.
