How to Save Attachments from the Menu with Windows Mail or Outlook Express
If an email comes with an attachment I usually save that attachment to my Desktop (or another folder on my hard disk) for at least two reasons:

Save Attachments from the Menu with Windows Mail or Outlook Express
To save an attachment from a message you receive in Windows Mail or Outlook Express:
- Open the message in Outlook Express.
- Select File | Save attachments... from the menu.
- Select which attachments you want to save.
- Specify the folder that the saved attachments should go to.
- Click Save.
Instead of using the menu, you can also save attachments via drag-and-drop.
