How to Make a Frame in GIMP
- 1). Load the photo you want to add a frame to onto your computer.
- 2). Click on the desktop shortcut to start the GIMP application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate the image you want to add a frame to and open it.
- 3). Select "Filter" from the menu and choose "Decor." From the options, choose "Border." A dialog will appear.
- 4). Set the "X" and "Y" size to what you want and choose your color. Click "OK" and save your work.
