Quoted text in emails is usually indented by a quotation bar or the more traditional '>' characters. But if you use Evolution, you can further highlight (or de-emphasize) quotations with a color.

Highlight Quoted Text with a Color in Evolution

To highlight quoted text with a color in Evolution:

• Go to your Evolution Inbox.
• Select Tools | Mail Settings... from the menu.
• Go to the Display tab.
• Make sure Highlight citations with __ color is selected.

• Select a color by clicking on the color button.
• Click OK.

Note: this also colorizes text you quote in outgoing HTML messages for recipients of your replies.
