Most of us, if you are reading this article, have owned or tried our luck in a home based business. Most of us want to sell that great comp plan to our friends and relitives. Lets see if that works for most. In the past I would get excited about a home based business and I would try and convince my friends and relitives to try it as well. The problem with that is rarely did anything work out because I wasn't leading a team I was selling them the idea and then thinking they would do the same. I learned quickly this did not work because they did not have the decipline or skils to work the business properly. I learned that I would have to lead and not sellthe comp plan in my home based business in order to succeed.

 When you own a home based business lead, don't sell a comp plan in a home based business. People will join anything that sounds to good to be true. They will fork over the money and follow you down that perverbial path to riches and fame. the problem when you don't lead and sell a comp plan in a home based business is you quickly lose friends and the trust of your family members. They think this great money making scheme will make them rich and it could if worked and promoted correctly. They will quickly jump out of your business as quickly as they jumped in.

 I have learned that I should lead don't, sell a comp plan in a home based business and have grown my own home based business, in the merchant services field, to over 150 people by training and promoting my business. While I believe that my business is the best way to make residual income, I don't push that on people. The people that see my success and are willing to listen and learnand they are the people I want to sponsor. The people who seem to take this journey that I am willing to teach them will make that great residual income they are looking for. When they make the money they are looking for guess what happens to me. I succeed off the others by teaching them.

 In this world you have two choices in business. You can be greedy and have something in the short term or you can be helpful to others and be satisfied forever. For me, being a Christian, it was easy. I wanted to help people. I found a business where I could lead, don't sell a comp plan in a home based business and I could help people save money. This is a win,win for anyone. Once you realize that a business is something to work and promote your dreams can come true. Get over the idea that just because a business has a great comp plan that you are going to make money and make it quickly. You have to leard to lead, not sell a comp plan in a home based business to do this.
