How to Print Double Daggers
- 1). Go to the "Symbol" dialog box. In virtually all Microsoft and word processing products, this can be found under the the "Insert" tab. OpenOffice features a similar setup, except that you have to open a "Special Character" dialog box.
- 2). Select the double dagger from the available options. If you have any trouble finding the symbol ensure that you're using a common font such as Times New Roman. You can insert the double dagger in this font even if the rest of your document is in a different font.
- 3). Select "Insert." You'll return to your document and now you can print.
- 4). Go to "Print," which in most programs is located under the "File" menu. If you have any difficulties in printing, first use a different font. It may be that the font you're trying to use is not supported by your printer. If this fails, make sure that your driver is up to date. HP's drivers, for example, are all available online. If you can't print the double dagger and are using a common type font and your printer software is updated, you may need to use a different printer. Your current printer may be outdated or there may be an unsolvable incompatibility between the printer and the word processing software you're using.
