Blog Name Matters

Gone were the days were names were so trendy and abusively used, what is required in today's online world is something simple yet classy. It may be antique but unique. You should know that your blog name matters. That is why search for the right name to tag your blog with. Choosing simply yet refined blog names would make it distinct and would make it last even longer.
In some ways your blog name defines and labels you. And with each name used you are limited to whatever topic it fits in. Let's say for example the name of your blog is Code, definitely you would find it hard to look for other topics aside from codes and programming scripts. The blog name itself says it all and the topics under your blog name should always be relevant to it. Trendy names alone makes it difficult since they only last for quite some time. They can be popular for awhile but then fades as time passes by. So what you need is a blog name with a great impact to your readers.
Choose the appropriate name for your blog because you will carry that name for many years.
I have researched on some articles that recommend blog names that stood amidst the test of time. You can try and visit them to see for yourself.
We have Duct Tape Marketing by John Jantsch which talks about small business marketing.
Simplicity by John Maeda. The name is simple but classy. The writer is an MIT expert on making things simple and he even has a book that goes by the same name.
Personal Branding Blog by Dan Schawbel where he is an expert on personal branding.
These three are simple and the topics under them are so relevant to the blog. I bet it is not that hard for you to look for a name like that. Basically, if you know what you will be writing about, trying to find the right name for your blog is not that much of a hard task. What I'm trying to say is that, make your blog name relevant to the things that you plan on writing about.
Yes you may change your blog name whenever you like it and into whatever name you want it to have, but if you do this, you risk losing your regular blog readers.
If you are currently not happy and satisfied with the name of the blog that you have created, then do not wait for tomorrow, change it now. It is harder to change your name when you have operated long enough to gain avid readers.
If you are someone who is well known or has a company with a name known to many, then there is no need to think of any other name. Using your company name also as a name for your blog will definitely work. A blog is as good as its name so name your blog well! Make it simple yet catchy.
