Printable Alphabet Baby Shower Decorations

    Types

    • The alphabet accents that you use should match the style of the event in order to enhance wall banners, table decor or party favors. For instance, if you're hosting a formal or fancy shower, cursive letters made from gold or silver paper can be connected to create a banner for the main wall. Letters that resemble the ones on baby blocks can be featured on party favors or invitations for a more casual shower.

    Size

    • The size of the alphabet decor should match the amount of space you have for the shower. For instance, if you're decorating a party with a circus theme and have a large main wall to work with, feature large printable letters like "L" or "C," along with smaller pictures of a lion or clown. If there's not a lot of room in the party space, it's a good idea to reserve the letters for the table decor, such as a collection of printable, stand-up baby blocks that spell "baby" or the phrases "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl."

    Significance

    • Alphabet baby shower decorations can also have special significance if the parents already know the gender of the baby or have already selected a name for the child. The letters used for the party banner can spell out "Welcome Baby (name of baby)." A centerpiece of printable alphabet letters on card stock can be featured at the main table in pink or blue that spell the baby's name; place it in a semicircle around the main food item, such as a cake.
