Reboot

• 1). Press and hold the Power button on the top of the iPhone until the "Slide to Power Off" screen appears.
  
  
• 2). Place your finger on the red box with the white arrow and slide it to the right side of the screen to power off the phone. The screen will turn off when the screen goes black.
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the Power button on the top of the iPhone until the Apple logo appears on the screen. After booting up, the lock screen will appear. The slider should function properly.
  
  

Reset

• 1). Push and hold the Power button on the top of the iPhone.
  
  
• 2). Press and hold the Home button while continuing to hold the Power button.
  
  
• 3). Release the Power and Home buttons when the Apple logo appears. The logo will appear on the screen for several seconds while the phone resets. The lock screen will appear on the phone. You can now use the slider.
