Removal of Genital Warts - It"s Not Easy

Removal of genital warts isn't as easy as one would think.
First, you must identify what you are dealing with is in fact warts.
This might mean you need to take a trip to the doctor's office (which can be an embarrassing experience for some people).
Once you then determine you do have this problem then you can seek the proper treatment.
You can't go into a drug store and use hand and foot wart cream to remove your problem area so don't even think about it.
Genital, hand and foot warts are different, therefore, they need different treatments.
Another problem is that warts never really go away 100%.
This will cause you to suffer breakouts from time to time.
The warts can remain hidden for months after you contracted HPV.
Often, those who have contracted the HPV never see their genital warts while others may be a serious case that requires immediate treatment.
The seriousness of your problem will vary from person to person, those who have strong immune systems will fight off the HPV and keep those genital warts from ever appearing.
You should get all the facts you can from your doctor before deciding on which treatment you want.
If you learn all the facts you are better informed and will be able to sleep better at night knowing you made the right decision.
All surgeries and topical treatments have their advantages and disadvantages obviously.
Your doctor should give you every option possible, then it is up to you which treatment you will undertake.
When you do have this problem, you can still resume your daily activities (for the most part).
What you can't do is have sexual relations because you are putting your partner at serious risk for infection - especially if you have a serious case of this problem.
Before you resume your sexual activity you must receive treatment.
While you will still have the HPV in your system, the likelihood of you affecting your partner during sexual activity decreases when there are no visible signs of genital warts.
You have aright to be healthy and sexual active.
This is why you need to receive some form of treatment as soon as possible.
You should avoid wearing tight underwear when you do have visible genital warts, wear loose-fitting underwear if possible.
You should never scratch or try to cut off your warts yourself.
This will only lead to scars, bleeding, discomfort and the spreading of your warts further.
It is rather tempting to avoid going to the doctor and attempt to remove your genital warts by yourself.
You do not have the necessary tools and know-how to do this alone.
It is always best to see the treatment of a professional to avoid unnecessary pain and general discomfort.
Sometimes, warts are confused as moles, therefore, people try treating genital warts as moles and attempt to remove them as such.
If you honestly don't know what you have then don't apply any form of treatment because you might be wasting your time.
If you do know you have genital warts, you should seek professional medical advice as soon as possible, you will be more then happy you did.
