How to Convert MVI to Mpeg2
- 1). Open a Web browser, and navigate to the AVS Converter website. Click the "Download Now" button located below the graphic of a scene marker. Double-click the program file's icon to run and install.
- 2). Open AVS Converter and click "To MPEG" located at the top.
- 3). Click "Browse" to find your MVI file. Name your new file in the "Output File Name" box. Click "Format" at the top of the program box and select your file size from the drop-down box below. Click "Browse" next to the "Output File Name" box to select where to save your converted file.
- 4). Click "Convert Now." You can also choose to split your file into chapters and limit each chapter size.
- 1). Open a Web browser, and navigate to hootech.com/download/avimp4_converter.exe. Click the "Download MVI to MPEG Converter" link at the bottom of the page. Download the program and install to your "Program Files" Under your "C" drive.
- 2). Open the program and click "Add Files." Select your MVI file or files from your computer. You may also select a folder.
- 3). Click the drop-down box on the left-hand side and choose "MPEG." Click "Convert."
- 1). Open a Web browser, and navigate to effectmatrix.com/download.htm. Click "Download From Server 1" or "Download From Server 2"; either will give you the correct program file.
- 2). Install the program to your "Program Files" folder under your "C" drive. Run the program and then restart your computer.
- 3). Open Total Video Converter, and select the MVI file you wish to convert by clicking "New Task" located at the top left corner.
- 4). Click what file type to save the converted file as -- in this case choose "MPEG" from the buttons listed under "Video Files" -- when you click the MVI file from your folder. You may also choose where to save your file by clicking "Browse" located at the bottom under "Output Folder."
- 5). Click "Convert Now" located next to the "New Task" button. Depending on file size, it may take longer than 2 minutes to convert. When Total Video Converter is finished, the folder where you chose to save the file pops up.
