Free Your Mind... the Right Way!

What is your MINDSET?

Everyone has one. It is the set of values and beliefs that make up our way of thinking. This mindset of ours seems to really reveal itself in difficult times, however. It reveals itself in the form of our will and emotions. It's so easy to just say "free your mind," but to free one's mind is much more difficult a process than just saying it. It even takes more than believing it (meaning that we cannot believe our mind free.)  With a truly free mind, our potential for success is unlimited. Let's take a look at the three things that it really takes to free our minds.

1. Letting things happen a bit different from what we originally expect. This doesn't mean to throw all expectations out the door. But to be open enough for incremental changes outside of our current way of thinking. This makes it possible to keep on moving forward despite anything that may try to hinder our progress. Slow and steady…

2. Get in good position (not in ‘good' condition). Ever heard of the phrase mind over matter? Position is the mind, an internal state, while condition is the matter, an external one. Think rather, ‘position over condition.' If we are living from a place of position rather than condition we've found the right starting place. When we choose position, it means that creative ideas will come directly to us with no distractions from those external things around us. The place of really being able to understand and interpret those things that are for us, is in the place of good position.

3. Activate, activate, activate.  Activate ideas as they come. Don't think over things TOO much, start acting. Faith is action. The more we ruminate and rehearse ideas, thoughts, plans, the more we are walking away from our true destiny. Have you ever realized that when you start to act things just start happening? When we give it time, they start happening in our favor! When we let God above be the author and the finisher of this faith, and not ourselves, we take the most crucial step in freeing our mind – that is trusting the One who made it.
