How to Edit Photos on the Front Page of Wordpress
- 1). Log in to your WordPress administration panel. Enter your user name and password.
- 2). Select the Media option in the administration panel. Select the "Add New" option. Select the "Select Files" option to upload the photos. Select the images from your computer, and click the "Open" button on the menu screen. This will automatically import the photos from your computer to your WordPress file server.
- 3). Select the "Edit Image" function. Choose from the range of options to edit your photo. Options include crop, rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, horizontal and vertical flipping and an undo function. Additional options include scaling the image based on pixel ratio.
- 4). Add a naming convention to the image. Select the "Title" field, and enter a name for the image. Select the "Alternate Text" field. This field will showcase the name of the image when a person places her cursor over the image. Select the "Caption" field to show a short description of the image. The "Description" field in the edit image function is used to provide details about the images in the media library.
