When travelling across the globe, everyone should want to save money.

I'm going to give you an example of how one would work and you can take great advantage.
Most hotel credit cards out there work the same.
Every time you swipe your card at the chain listed on your card, you get x amount of points.
Let's say your card gives you 6 points for every dollar you spend.
Once you reach 7,000 points, you can get a free night.
For every $100 stay you take, you get 600 points.
After 12 stays or so, you can get the 13th night free.
You have to remember though that you can get a point for every dollar spent outside of the hotel.
Let's say you spend $500 a month on groceries, etc.
If you put this all on your card each month and pay it off in full, you can get a free hotel stay just about every year.
The more you spend, the more you earn.
Just remember that in the long haul, you need to pay your card off in full to take advantage because if you don't, you're going to pay more in interest fees than your rewards.
