How to Import Blogger to Drupal
- 1). Export your blog from Blogger. Click "Settings/Basic tab" and select "Export Blog". Backup your database on Drupal. Enable the Query Path module and set the permissions for 'Import Blogger Blog'.
- 2). Create a directory or give access to a directory for Drupal to access. Upload Blogger XML file to the directory.
- 3). Go to your Admin panel. Select "Content". Choose "Blogger Importer". Enter the path address where your XML file is located in your directory.
- 4). Click "Save & Process Export XML". Review posts and comments found.
- 5). Click "Create Nodes from Posts". Review created nodes.
- 1). Log on to WordPress.com and create an account.
- 2). Create a new blog on WordPress. Delete your sample post and comment.
- 3). Open a new browser window and log on to your Blogger account.
- 4). Return to WordPress and click on "Tools". Select "Import". Click on "Blogger" and authorize. Wait for import. Click on "Tools" and click on "Export". Download the file.
- 5). Download Drupal modules, Trackback and WordPress Import.
- 6). Back up your Drupal database. Upload modules into modules directory.
- 7). Log in as UID1. Enable the Trackback and WordPress Import modules.
- 8). Go to admin panel and select "Content" and "WordPress Import" Select the exported file created by WordPress.
