Fritz and Ronnie Fish Tennessee

Two years ago Fritz and I were in a ROFB tournament on Center Hill Lake in Tennessee. We stayed at Hurricane Dock and loved the folks there and the way they treated us. We also liked fishing the lake. So, this April we decided to go back for a few days.
We arrived on Monday night, April 12 and it was cold, cloudy and windy. But the folks at Hurricane Dock were just as great as we remembered. We ate supper at the resturant there then headed to the cabin for sleep.

Tuesday morning we got up to predictions of snow! This is mid April! We went out at about 10:00 AM after getting our licenses and I caught two spotted bass and a smallmouth. Fritz got our best bass of the trip, a 3 lb. 10 oz. largemouth. We were so cold we went in for lunch after fishing only two hours.

At the dock we were told they were closing schools in Nashville, only an hour away, due to snow. We went back out anyway, after drying Fritz's jacket, and fished. Sure enough, it started snowing. The wind blew, it was cold and the fish had quit biting. I managed to catch three or four more small bass before we gave up and went in for dinner and a fire.

Wednesday was much better. We caught 17 bass that day, including a nice smallmouth for Fritz. They hit Fukes and a Texas rigged Tiny Brush Hog. We had one fish at lunch time but they hit good that afternoon.

Thursday morning I fished only a few hours before leaving Fritz and heading back to get my boat. I managed to catch five bass and Fritz had one before I left.
