Remington Nitro Piston Review

Any person that waltzes into a bass pro shops every once in a while or watches the outdoor channel has probably taken notice to the recent explosion in the pellet gun market.
Air rifles have really come a long way in the past few years.
At first there were just a few fast, accurate air rifles available.
However, now there are all sorts of new innovations being introduced into the market.
One of the hottest of those new innovations is nitro piston technology.
Rather than the conventional models available, nitro piston air rifles have many more benefits and features to offer.
They make approximately seventy percent less noise when fired and are just as fast.
They are also really accurate.
So know you folks are probably looking for the catch - am I right? Just with everything else - you pay for what you get.
Nitro piston pellet guns are usually priced in the mid two hundred dollar range.
The cheapest one that I have been able to find is available on amazon for only one hundred and fifty dollars.
Its made by gamo, but I have not had the chance to test it out yet.
However, I have had the chance to test out the Remington nitro piston short stroke air rifle or remingon npss for short.
The npss is a sweet shooting pellet gun folks.
The version I bought has digital camo and shoots one and a half inch groups out to fifty yards.
As for the loudness of the gun, I have not shot anything much quieter than this one.
It sounds a lot like a silenced air rifle.
