How to Boot Android 2.3 on a NOOK Color
- 1). Insert the microSD card into your computer. Click "Start" and "Computer." Double-click the SD card and open Win32 Imager.
- 2). Point Win32 Imager to Auto-Nooter. If you are unsure where you unzipped the Auto-Nooter zip file, click "Start" and type "Auto-Nooter" in the search box.
- 3). Click the microSD card from the "Devices" drop-down list. Click "Write" to write the Auto-Nooter image to the microSD card after formatting it. Remove the microSD card from your computer once the imaging process completes.
- 4). Turn your NOOK Color off and insert the microSD card into a slot on its back.
- 5). Connect the NOOK to your computer while it is turned off, then turn it on once it's connected. Your device is now rooted with the Android operating system, and you have full access to the operating system's functions.
