How to Remove the Console on a 2007 Honda Accord
- 1). Pull the parking brake handle up. Twist the gearshift knob on a manual transmission counterclockwise to remove it.
- 2). Pry the gearshift cover plate up using the small pocket screwdriver. Lift the cover plate up and disconnect the seat belt switches. Remove the cover.
- 3). Pry the coin tray up in the same manner. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the two screws under the coin tray.
- 4). Remove the two screws in front of the gear shift lever. Lift the console compartment rubber mat and remove the two screws in the base. Lift the console out of the car.
