- Christmas ornaments are a great creation made from using baby food jar lids. Brush a little glue on both sides of the lid and sprinkle with glitter. Glue a string onto the edge of the lid and you have got a perfect Christmas ornament for the tree.
- Juice can lids make great craft projects because they do not have sharp edges. Vegetable cans also work great when you have a can opener that eliminates sharp edges. You can make quick and easy candle toppers using a hammer and nail. Simply draw out a design on the lid using tiny dots, then punch each dot into a hole using the hammer and nail. Sit on top of a candle and you will have a lovely design.
- With an assortment of can lids, you can make a great set of wind chimes. Simply put a hole at the top of each lid, tie a string through it, and secure each lid to a metal or wooden base with a hook on top for hanging. As the breeze blows, you will have a fun set of hand-made wind chimes.
