Least Preferred Sweets by People in Sweet Hampers
There are thousands of accounts and surveys about the best sweets people love in sweet hampers but there aren't many that tell about what are the least preferred sweets by people.
I want to get the other side the story so I asked people from different walks of life about what are their least favourite sweets of all.
I asked people in public places like subways, in school, in grocery stores, in the supermarket, and even the customers in and out of a candy shop.
I even posted polls and surveys online in different discussion boards and forums and this is the summary of the information that I have gathered.
I spent some hours for two days asking different people in subways about their least favourite sweets in sweet hampers.
Of all the young men and women that I have asked two sweets came on top - Toasted Coconut Teacakes and Sour Apple Belts.
They said that the taste of these sweets doesn't suit their preferences.
Most of them unanimously claimed that they didn't like the coconut flavour of the toasted teacakes and would have preferred something that is citrus'ish in taste.
Moreover, they didn't like the Sour Apple Belts and find the taste rather weird.
I spend most of my time in school and this gave me an ample time to ask around about the students and teachers' least preferred sweets in sweet hampers.
I have had mixed consensus in school.
The information I got came up with three least preferred sweets but the figures aren't really concrete.
Students and teachers in school don't like Barratts Shrimps, Liquorice Comfits, and Rhubarb and Custard.
I believe this has a timeline factor.
Because most of these sweets are traditional and retro sweets, kids of today didn't grow up with them.
Their preferences are mostly inclined towards the more contemporary products.
I personally think that consumers and buyers are the most reliable people to ask information from.
To find the answer to my question and to know the other side of the story I also went in different grocery stores and supermarkets to ask people about their least favourite sweets in sweet hampers.
It is also important to note that majority of the people that I was able to get information from are mothers in their mid-age.
The consumers and buyers that I have asked said that they particularly dislike Golf Ball Bubblegum and Gobstoppers in sweet hampers.
Most of their reasons are because they have had enough of these sweets when they were younger and are now looking different options and tastes.
