How to Reheat Tri-Tips

    Large Portions

    • 1). Wrap whole tri-tip steaks or roasts, unsliced, in aluminum foil.

    • 2). Place the foil-wrapped steak in a preheated 350-degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Bake larger pieces of meat at a lower temperature for a longer time and bake smaller pieces of meat at a higher temperature for a shorter time.

    • 3). Flip the tri-tip over halfway through the cooking time.

    • 4). Allow the steak to rest, in foil, for about five minutes before slicing.

    Small Portions

    • 1). Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat. Coat it with butter or oil.

    • 2). When the skillet is hot, quickly add the tri-tip.

    • 3). Sear steaks for about two to five minutes per side, depending on its thickness. If you're reheating cubes or strips of tri-tip, stir the meat constantly.
