What to Expect When Transforming Your Body

When I first began my effort to get in shape I was a very young teenager and was also overweight.
I got to that point because I had the worst diet you could possibly imagine.
It consisted mostly of sugary snacks and breakfast cereals that I added extra sugar to.
Bottom line I quickly became overweight in my youth but I didn't realize it until someone pointed it out to me and it was at that point I become bent on making a difference in my physique.
I will explain in the article the essential parts of the quest I went through to achieve a very high level of fitness from a very low level of fitness with the intention of convincing you that realizing your goals it mostly a matter of ambition and not becoming deterred.
I will also explain ways you can make sure you are getting the proper fitness instruction such as by getting a personal trainer.

As I mentioned already I was in my very early teens when I decided to do something about my weight.
Since I was so young and didn't know anything at all about exercise or eating healthy the first resource I went to for information was my parents.
My father didn't know and awful lot about weight loss aside from the typical thinking of the time which was to simply avoid eating very much and to cut out carbs.
I think the approach people would take now to lose weight has evolved a lot since then and has become more diverse but at that point in time I think most people would have recommended this approach.
So that is exactly what I did and it was a very difficult and miserable approach that I would have done differently today but it actually got me to the goal I had set at the time which was just to lose weight.
It was a very simple goal that most people who are overweight have.
I still remember the day I first realized this approach was working.
I was just looking in the mirror one day and noticed I could see the contours of my abdominal muscles.
In other words I realized I had a six pack.
This was an unbelievable moment because I hadn't even had the goal of getting a six pack.
This was just an extra result I guess you could say but I was certainly happy that it happened.
After I started to lose weight I become infatuated with the idea of being really strong and having really large muscles.
For me personally, between getting really strong and losing weight, getting really strong was the hardest between the two.
Attaining the amount of muscle mass and strength I wanted required years of dedication mainly because I great deal of research went into my pursuit.
It was incredibly difficult and there were times I didn't think I would get there because I would go through periods that would last for years where I simply couldn't get the slightest bit stronger.
I remember reaching a plateau that lasted for about five years.
To this day that was the longest fitness plateau of my life and it was this frustrating situation that made me think that I had reached my genetic limit.
Despite any doubts in myself that I may have had I continued to research strength training and try to implement what I had researched and new fitness theories.
After five long years I finally figured out what the issue was.
The issue was that I wasn't eating enough which I didn't suspect because I was already eating a lot.
After about one month I had finally gotten over this very annoying personal issue of mine.
Something that you have the option of doing is using some form of personal training such as online fitness training.
Online fitness training is very much like the typical sort of personal training only it is much more affordable.
Online fitness training is also much more convenient than any other kind of personal training because all you really need is a computer.
