Information on Argireline

    Make Up

    • Argireline is comprised of the peptide acetyl hexapeptide-3 and is a chain of amino acids that are attached to acetic acid residue. Extensive research has been conducted on the safety of Argireline and it has been determined to be safe, effective and approved only for topical use.

    How It Works

    • By slowing the release of neurotransmitters by the brain, Argireline is believed to countermand the brain's signals that encourage facial tension, resulting in the relaxation of facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. While Botox can only be injected into certain parts of the face, Argireline can be applied anywhere unwanted lines and wrinkles may appear.

    Availability

    • Argireline is meant to be mixed into cosmetic formulas including gels, emulsions and serums, and is available in powder and cream forms. Argireline is intended for commercial use and is not available for direct sale to consumers.
