Video Transcript

Welcome class to Meganomics 101. Today's beauty vice lesson is how to do eye shadow triangles. So let's get started, because class is in session. What is an eye shadow triangle? It's actually a triangle that you're going to put in and on to your eye shadow. We've already done Gabby's makeup for how to do girly punk makeup which you can watch if you want to know how to do this. But we're going to build on that and I'm going to show you exactly what you're going to be doing with the triangles. When you're looking at the eyes and you're in the crease, I like to imagine a triangle. See that? And from there I can blend accordingly with a blending brush or my finger. And depending on how you want to go, if you want it to be really flat, you want it to be really long, you're going to change and augment the lines of your triangle. But you're using it as a guide to your eye shadow. Because then you can just blend it out and it looks just like a regular normal eye shadow and we're not even thinking that there's a triangle on your eye. And then another triangle that is not very normal in every day life it's more avant garde, it's more high fashion, but I'm going to show you what the in crowd is doing these days. Right up here people. This type of triangle. It's very Grace Jones, it's very futuristic. Open your eyes. It's super futuristic and what I would recommend doing is even getting darker. Even getting darker and it gives this illusion like this is being pushed back a bit. I like the purple quality that we have going but I want it to be even darker. Those are just a few examples of eye shadow triangles. With the front you could play around with a little bit but it's the wings at the end that you could really have fun with. Try opening and closing your triangles to create different looks. Practice all the time, have fun with it. It's just makeup. And those are some tips on how to do eye shadow triangles. Class dismissed.
