In Matthew 28:18-20, the Lord Jesus gave his final instructions to the apostles: "Go and make disciples ... and surely I am with you always." These passages contain the foundation for evangelism and cross-cultural missions work in Christian theology—the Great Commission.


For believers, there are many different ways we can obey this command. For instance, Romans Road lays out the plan of salvation through a series of Bible verses from the book of Romans. When arranged in order, these verses form an easy, systematic way of explaining the message of salvation. This is just one method of evangelism.
