Vauxhall Flextreme Gt/e Concept Revealed At Geneva

Featuring the same electric motor drivetrain and small petrol engine to boost battery power as the Ampera, the Vauxhall Flextreme GT/E concept car is the latest in the e-mobility unlimited strategy to incorporate the zero CO2 emissions technology across the Vauxhall range.

The low roof height offers better aerodynamics and the lightweight building materials increase the range of the powertrain to 300 miles, 40 miles of which will be completely battery powered.

Like the smaller Ampera, Vauxhall quotes figures of 62mph acceleration in nine seconds and a top speed of 125mph for the larger Flextreme GT/E.

There has been no announcements regarding the future production of the Vauxhall Flextreme GT/E, although it has not been ruled out by the manufacturer
