How to Print on a Wireless Network Using Vista
- 1). Visit your printer's website and look for any Vista software updates. Updates may be listed under "Drivers," or you can search the website for your model number and "Vista update."
- 2). Download any software updates (drivers) for your printer. Once downloaded, double-click on the update to install it.
- 3). Go to the "Control Panel" in Vista and click "Hardware and Sound." You'll see "Printers" and a button that says "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer."
- 4). Follow the prompts that appear in the printer installation wizard. You'll need to enter your wireless network password, if applicable.
- 5). Open a document and make a test print. Be sure to choose your network printer from the list of available printers if you have more than one printer installed.
