How to Clean Print Roller Dymo LetraTag
- 1). Lift the label cassette cover found on the back of the label maker and remove the label cassette by pulling it out.
- 2). Soak a cotton ball with isopropyl alcohol. Fit the pointed end of a ball point pen onto the back post sticking up on the top of the opened cassette compartment.
- 3). Press down the back post with the pen and press down and hold the cutter lever to expose the cutter blade. Wipe both sides of the cutter blade with the alcohol-sodden cotton ball and allow the excess alcohol to evaporate.
- 4). Release the cutter lever and the back post to hide the cutter blade.
- 5). Remove the cleaning tool from the compartment found on the cassette compartment lid.
- 6). Thoroughly and gently wipe the padded side of the tool across the printer head in one direction.
- 7). Put the cleaning tool away, fit a new cassette into the cassette compartment and press it down until you hear a click and close the cassette cover.
