Concrete is everywhere---under your feet, under your tires, in the buildings where you live and work. Though concrete blends into the background of everyday life, it plays a critical role in societies. Concrete paving associations were formed to represent and advocate for those who work in the industry from contractors to researchers and support staff. These groups also help develop technology used in the production of concrete paving products. - The American Concrete Pavement Association is comprised of businesses and individuals who use concrete for projects such as highways and airplane runways. The ACPA provides its members with training and advocacy while researching ways to advance the concrete pavement industry.
ACPA membership is open to concrete pavement contractors as well as concrete and equipment manufacturers. The association also maintains a website for the public, pavements4life.com, which explains why concrete pavement is a good choice for community projects.
