How to Change the Awesome Bar in Firefox Portable 3.6.3
- 1). Open Firefox.
- 2). Type "about:config" into the Awesome Bar and hit Enter. Confirm the security warning by clicking "I'll be careful, I promise!" to proceed.
- 3). Locate "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults" by scrolling through the list or using the search box at the top.
- 4). Double-click the "Value" (at "12" by default) and enter "0", then click "OK" to save the changes. A zero means that no related results will appear as you type a website's URL. Alternatively, if you do not wish to disable the Awesome Bar, enter the desired value for the number of related results (from your History and Bookmarks) to appear when typing in the Awesome Bar.
