How to Make an iPod Case With a Juice Box
- 1). Open your juice box by unfolding the tabs and peeling apart the box. Flatten the container, then remove any remaining juice with a damp paper towel. Wipe the box with an additional paper towel to dry it.
- 2). Measure your iPod, then trim the juice box to double the size. Trim the box by cutting out a long strip. Set this aside for later.
- 3). Rub the inside of the flattened juice box with sandpaper to help the spray glue stick to it better.
- 4). Spray the glue onto the shiny side of the juice box, then attach velvet or other fabric to protect the iPod screen from being scratched inside the box.
- 5). Fold the flattened juice box back into a box shape, then sew the two bottom corners together so that only the top remains open. Take the strip of box set aside in Step 2 and sew the ends of it to the middle back of the box. The top of your juice box will slide into this strip to properly close the case.
- 6). Draw two diagonal lines on the top corner flaps of the juice box. Trim these away so that the flap forms a triangular shape.
- 7). Place your iPod into the case. Pull the top flap closed and tuck it into the box strip made in Step 5.
