How to Kill Mound Ants

    • 1). Put three gallons of water into a pot.

    • 2). Place the pot on your stove and turn the stove on. Leave it on until the water comes to a full boil. Once it does, leave the pot on the stove for another minute or so before turning the stove off.

    • 3). Take the pot full of boiling water outside immediately after you turn the stove off.

    • 4). Cover the entire mound of ants with boiling water. Pour the water slowly to ensure that you kill all of the ants.

    • 5). Inspect the area to see if you've killed all of the mound ants. If any remain, repeat the process. You may need to do this two to three total times in order to kill all of the mound ants.
