How to Change Your Yoshi Color in "Super Mario Galaxy 2"
- 1). Hatch Yoshi from his egg by shaking the Wii remote. Shake the Wii remote again to hop on his back when he emerges. Yoshi is only available in certain levels.
- 2). Press the "B" button to eat a Blimp Fruit, or run into one to activate it. The Blimp Fruit turns Yoshi blue. The fruit lets Yoshi inflate his body so Mario can reach higher places.
- 3). Eat a Dash Pepper to make Yoshi turn red. The spicy Dash Pepper lets Yoshi run at top speed. This is helpful when you want to run up vertical walls or outrun enemies.
- 4). Eat a Bulb Berry to turn Yoshi yellow. The Bulb Berry, only available in dark areas, allows Yoshi to illuminate a room. This helps you avoid traps or holes in the floor.
