Many people like to know what their future is likely to hold. It gives them a feeling of control and power to know what is ahead of them and they feel that they may be able to avoid the bad parts and somehow change them. They use many means to find out the future, from tarot card reading and following weekly horoscopes through to consulting with a clairvoyant or those who claim to be psychics or mediums.
Of course, to some people the whole idea that tarot readings can tell your future is ridiculous, but they may still consult with tarot readers or seek some kind of psychic reading at shows just for the fun of it. Some of these clairvoyants are simply charlatans who are in it for the money and what they predict will never come true. So if bad news is predicted you dont have to worry overmuch.
Other people claim to have had tarot card readings or some other kind of psychic readings that told them everything their past contained and so they believe the predictions for their future. But if you do not like the result of one tarot reading you could always go to two or three other psychic people and ask for others, then see if they match up with the first one. If they are all different you will just have to take on board the one you like best or maybe decide that they are each talking about different times or aspects of your life.
A horoscope that is found in a weekly or monthly magazine cannot be taken too seriously as such specifics cannot possibly apply to the number of people whose birth date falls under that star sign. However the kind of clairvoyance that is the result of a one on one consultation is usually considered more likely to be true so long as the person who gives it really has such a gift.
