How to Create a Slide Show on an Apple Computer
- 1). Open the "Applications" folder in the dock and click on "iPhoto."
- 2). Click on "Photos" under the "Library" section in the left-hand pane.
- 3). Select multiple photos from your library by holding the "Command" button while clicking on each photo.
- 4). Press the "+" icon once you've selected all the photos for the slide show. After the new window opens, select the "Slideshow" tab and name your slide show. Press "OK."
- 5). Click on the newly created slide show in the left-hand column of iPhoto. This will open the slide show editing window.
- 6). Rearrange your photos in the desired order by clicking and dragging them left or right.
- 7). Choose "Music" to add a song from your iTunes library to the slide show. Navigate to and highlight the song in the new window and press "OK."
- 8). Click on "Settings" to adjust the slide show features. If you added a custom song to the slide show, you have the option to "Repeat music during slideshow," which will loop the song until the slide show ends, or "Fit slideshow to music," which will adjust the time of each photo to fit the length of the track.
- 9). Choose a transition and transition length from the drop-down menu. This will apply to all slides. You can also use "Repeat slideshow" (loop until stopped manually); scale up photos to fill the screen; use the Ken Burns effect; show photo titles, ratings and slide show controls. To select these features, check the corresponding box to the left. Press "OK" when finished.

Press "Preview" in the editing window to view a portion of the slide show. Click "Play" to view the slide show in full screen. - 11
Select "Share" in the Menu bar and choose "Send to iDVD" to burn this slide show to a DVD.
