How to train and work out correctly
This is the story of Patrick. Patrick was an average guy who went to law school and had a busy and demanding life. He had wanted to start working out for a couple of months now because he could feel that his health levels were not at their maximum and that he was getting a little chubby. Having to study for several hours a day had not allowed him to eat proper food and he was constantly living of junk food, got little sleep and didn't work out. He knew he had to change this and therefore decided that he would start going to the gym a couple of times a week.
After 2-3 weeks however his motivation started going down and he didn't know if he was doing the right exercises and following the correct diet. He had gone wrong where many others before him had also gone wrong. Patrick had missed the very important step of hiring a personal trainer so he could remove all doubt and be sure that he was doing everything correctly and was on the right path. He had even failed to see that whenever you sign up for a membership at the gym he had chosen you actually got a free consultation with a personal trainer.
After he found out about this great offer he met up with his trainer and this immediately removed all doubt. His trainer told him that in order to get the best results he should train at least 3 times a week and push himself as hard as he could when he was in the gym. This discouraged Patrick a little as he felt he was being forced to go to the gym and work out, he felt that it was unfair that a lot of people didn't even have to go to the gym and could still look great and stay skinny.
What Patrick failed to realize in the same way a lot of people do, is that going to the gym is something you choose and should be something you look forward to. Going to the gym isn't just about looking good, it is about building your internal health and making sure that you will be able to move freely and strongly even as you age.
After Patrick decided this he started seeing a lot of success and results as he was now training consistently and following the right tips.
