Gilkicker Point Bird Group are a local friendly bird watching group active in birdwatching in the Gosport & Fareham areas of Hampshire UK.
Local Birdwatching trips for anyone who is interested.
The Gilkicker Point Bird Group have been active in the Hampshire area for over 60 years, with close to a 100 members of all ages, backgrounds and experience, we welcome anyone with an interest in birding, or nature.
Our yearly program on our website has a wide variety of trips to different habitats all lead by very experienced bird watchers who have been birding in the Hampshire area for many years.
During the winter months we have indoor meetings with expert guest speakers these are usually held at the Wedgewood Rooms at Titchfield Haven Nature reserve, our local and nationally important nature reserve.
A great way to learn.
The problem with learning bird watching on your own is you will miss most of the birds around you. Go with Gilkicker Point bird group and use their experience and eyes and you will see and learn so much more.
With their experience you will learn that the slightly dark Garden Warbler was just that and not a first for the UK. No matter how experienced you are you will learn something from others.
