Finding the Blog for Your Business

How can you rank your blog page so it can be seen? To answer this, first you need to understand the way that Google ranks blogs.
The blog itself isn't actually what ranks, it's the page, that is, the individual blog post that is created.
Each blog post has its own set of keyword phrases.
The object is to get the keyword phrase that you type into the "tag" section on your post to rank on Google's first page.
For example, this blog post has a the keyword phrase "blog for your business".
So my hope is, of course, that when you type in "blog for your business" for Google to search, that you will see the link for my blog post.
Google ranks according to popularity and relevancy.
The keyword phase you put into your tag section is included in your blog post in several sections, and this makes the post relevant.
But how can you make it popular? What Makes a blog popular? The system was created less than a year ago, and is already among the most popular 1000 sites worldwide on the net, among millions of sites.
How do I know this? Google ranks according to the "Alexa" score ranking system, with the lowest score representing the most popular site.
For example, YouTube is Alexa score 3, meaning it's the third most popular site on the internet.
The lower the score, the more popular the site.
You can download the Alexa toolbar for free yourself to check it out.
Every time I log into my high page ranking blog site, I see a lower Alexa score, so it's becoming more and more popular with each passing day.
Why should you have a team blog for your business? If you get your own personal blog, that's great, and even recommended.
However, whether or not you have your own blog, you won't get the search engine optimization power behind your posts unless you have a team blogging system to link to.
For example, when I first got my personal blog site up and running, my Alexa score was over six million.
That means I was the 6 millionth most popular site on the internet.
(Wow, whoop-de-do...
LOL!) However, I've been linking my personal blog to my team blog site for the past six months, and now my personal blog site is down to about 1 million! I know, still not popular enough to be seen on Google for a popular keyword phrase, but it's clear that my team blog is making my personal blog more popular over time, and by linking the two blogs together, my personal site can now be ranked higher on Google.
And why does this idea make it a good blog for your business? Because any blog post that finds its way to the first page on Google will generate free traffic - bringing you free leads for your business.
So this means that when you post information about whatever it is you want to market - and that can be anything - a team blog post that's seen on Google will bring you free leads!
