How to Build Massive Snowmen
- 1). Roll a snowball as large as you can for the base of the snowman. Make sure that when you can no longer roll the snowman base, it is in the position that you want.
- 2). Pack additional snow onto the snowman base by hand until it has reached the size you want. Use the snow shovel to bring additional snow to the area, and to help smooth out and round the base.
- 3). Roll out the midsection of the snowman until it is of a manageable size, then lift it onto the base of the snowman. As you did for the base, build up the midsection by hand until it is the size you want. The midsection should be just about half the size of the snowman base.
- 4). Roll out the head of the snowman. If necessary, use a ladder to put the head into position. Pack additional snow onto the snowman by hand until it has reached the size you want. The head of the snowman should be just about half the size of the midsection.
- 5). Add the eyes, nose, smile and arms to the snowman, as well as any additional decorations you want to add.
