- 1). Vacuum the scratched area on the linoleum floor to remove any loose debris from the surface.
- 2). Pour mineral oil onto the edge of a clean cloth. Place the edge of the cloth against the linoleum floor on one side of the scratch. Press down on the edge as you drag the cloth across the scratch. Lift the cloth off the floor once the other side of the scratch has been reached. Repeat this procedure two more times.
- 3). Apply linoleum floor polish to the edge of another clean cloth. Place the edge of the cloth against the linoleum floor at one side of the scratch. Press down on the edge as you drag the cloth across the scratch. Lift the cloth off the floor once the other side of the scratch has been reached. Repeat this procedure by rubbing the edge of the cloth against the scratch.
- 4). Apply the linoleum floor polish to another edge of the cloth and repeat Step 3. Let the floor air-dry before allowing anyone to walk on it again.
