Hemorrhoids Treatment and the American Diet
While doing research on the treatment of hemorrhoids, I found that most people will experience hemorrhoids during their life time.
It is no wonder when you look at what is considered the typical American Diet.
You know this diet by such names as the fast food diet, junk food diet or the meat-sweet diet.
Not only do these bad habit diets contribute to diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, they contribute to hemorrhoids.
It is just plain and simple, a diet of a big beef burger and pop takes its toll on your stomach, liver and intestines.
Fast food companies have answered the question "Where's The Beef?", but can not answer "Where's the Benefit.
" When you take into consideration that the average American consumes 150 1bs of sugar a year, we have a problem.
Most of this sugar consumption comes in soda pop.
The average American drinks 57 gallons of soda pop a year.
Soda and sweet deserts are not the only culprits.
You will find sugar in products that you might not consider sweet, like bread, beer, yogurt and baby food.
One of my favorite rants is on yogurt.
Advertising campaigns give you the idea that those fruit yogurts are good for you.
Yet they are packed with sugar.
Now they are putting fiber in yogurt to make it sound even more nutritious.
Oh, and you get the benefit of all those pro-biotics.
It is almost laughable.
You can eat all the pro-biotics you want, but if you are eating all that sugar you might as well save your bucks.
The Federal Trade Commission is cracking down on health food and vitamin companies for promoting something that could keep you healthy, prevent disease and even cure.
Yet the big food manufacturing companies can promote foods that are full of chemicals and sugar as a healthy choice.
Just last week I picked up a magazine by one of the major food manufactures that was promoting "25 Ways to Eat Well for Less.
" Of course the recipes used their products.
But these products are full of chemicals and sugars.
For example, bottled spaghetti sauce, bottled gravy, process cheese slices, lunch meats and even boxed pudding.
Want the number one hemorrhoids treatment? Get off of the junk food.
Learn to eat a healthy diet.
