Caffeine in Green Tea - What"s The Real Story?

There is a "kick" associated with the ingestion of caffeine containing products, including tea, coffee, cola, sports drinks, etc.

There have been a few deaths reported from extreme overdoses of caffeine through over-the-counter caffeine supplements and black coffee.
There are approximately 25 milligrams in an 8 ounce cup of green tea.
This amount is considered safe and lower than many of the other caffeine containing products.
Caffeine works in a positive way by enhancing many of the health benefits of green tea.
There are many many brands of green tea in the marketplace so be sure you purchase a good quality product not the cheapest you can find.
Remember, it is usually brewed and drunk as a beverage, but you can also find extracts or capsules.
It is found as well in some skin care products.
This supplement appears to have many healthful properties, not the least of which is caffeine.
Also, if you need that "kick" try green tea instead of cola, coffee, black tea or sports drinks.
You can attain the healthful benefits without the problems associated with the other beverages noted above.
This could be a pleasant way to support a healthful lifestyle.
