Giving Capstar in Food

• 1). Place a small amount of food in your cat's dish at his regular feeding time.
  
  
• 2). Mix a Capstar tablet into the food and mix it up to completely hide the pill.
  
  
• 3). Watch the cat carefully to ensure that she eats the tablet rather than spitting it out.
  
  

Giving Capstar Orally

• 1). Have a helper hold the cat firmly.
  
  
• 2). Hold the cat's head firmly and tilt it back. The cat will most likely drop his lower jaw. If not, use your middle finger to pry open the lower jaw.
  
  
• 3). Continue to hold the lower jaw down with your middle finger and use your thumb and finger to push the pill as far back on the tongue as possible.
