How to Access iPhone Photos on a PC

    Camera Roll

    • 1). Connect the iPhone to the PC using its USB cable. The PC automatically detects that an iPhone has been connected and will create an entry for it in "Computer."

    • 2). Click the Windows orb and click "Computer" on the right-hand side of the menu.

    • 3). Double-click the entry for the iPhone. The folder displays all the content of the iPhone's Camera Roll.

    • 4). Highlight the icons of any photos or videos you want to extract from the iPhone into a new folder on the PC. Click the "Edit" menu and click "Copy." Navigate to a folder where you'd like to put the files on the PC, for example, "My Pictures." Click the "Edit" menu and "Paste" to put the pictures in the folder.

    ITunes Sync

    • 1). Connect the iPhone to the PC using its USB cable. ITunes will automatically detect the iPhone and add it to the "Devices" list in the left-hand column of the iTunes window.

    • 2). Click the iPhone in the "Devices" list, and then click the "Photos" tab in the main iTunes window.

    • 3). Click to check the "Sync Photos from" box and click "Choose folder..." from the drop-down menu to the right.

    • 4). Select a folder on the PC where you want the iPhone to export its photos to. If you choose a folder with photos already in it, the synchronization process will copy those photos to the iPhone as well as copying the iPhone's photos to the folder on the PC. If you select an empty folder, only the iPhone's photos will be synced.

    • 5). Click the "Sync" button in the lower right corner to synchronize the iPhone's photos with the PC's folder.
