Win a Wine Tour for Two to Portugal – with Wines and Tours
To celebrate the launch of their new website "Wines and Tours" is offering wine lovers a chance to win a holiday for two to Portugal to taste some of the regions best wines.
Two lucky people will be joining, for free, the tour to north Portugal and the Douro Valley between 25th to 29th August 2011.
To stand a chance of winning you need to answer some simple wine related questions on their website.
In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker question will be emailed to the tied entrants.
"Wines and Tours" was set up by Nicholas Collis from The Pewsey Vale Wine Company and Bill Warry from Chateau Select. Both are wine lovers and have many years experience in the wine trade. Their knowledge and fun loving personalities make a "Wines and Tours" holiday something not to be missed.

The expert team at Wines and Tours have been in the wine business for some time now. Read the profiles of the main characters within the business and see how time with them in an Italian vineyard or a Portuguese port lodge is time you just have to set aside.
Nicholas Collis - From The Pewsey Vale Wine Company
Nicholas Collis
Through a personal connection, Nicholas joined the coveted wine-trade in 1972 at Gonzalez Byass, the famous sherry shipper in London and quickly adapted his sales and marketing skills, gained from previous years with other blue-chip organisations.
In 1984 he was appointed brand manager for a London wine agency house, before moving his home base to Wiltshire in to develop sales in the southwest together with other associated roles.
Then ten years later, he started his own small wholesale business, The Pewsey Vale Wine Company primarily to supply wines, by the case, to his friends and neighbours, which now specialises in Hispanic wines.
Early in 2008, through ecademy.com, Nicholas linked up with Victor Marques (Douro Valley Wine Producer extraordinaire) and Bill Warry (multi lingual wine shipper and online-mix-olo-gist) to form a coalition in promoting the distribution, sales and awareness to the great wines of north Portugal in the UK and beyond.

Bill Warry
A modern language graduate from King's College London, Bill spent most of his career in Marketing. He started selling wine more as a hobby than a business. Having spent many afternoons visiting vineyards in the South of France, he decided to try importing a pallet, saying to himself " I can always drink it with my friends if I can't sell it." As it turns out, he did sell it and brought another two pallets that year. Two years ago he set up Chateau Select Ltd to sell wine on line.
