How to Determine the Size of the Container Field in FileMaker Pro 10
- 1). Launch FileMaker Pro 10, and open the database with the container field you want to resize.
- 2). Navigate to the layout where the container field appears.
- 3). Click on the "Edit Layout" button in the upper-right corner of the window.
- 4). Go to the "View" menu at the top of the screen, and select "Object Info." A small window will appear that displays information about layout objects you select.
- 5). Highlight the container field that you want to resize.
- 6). Use the horizontal and vertical arrow fields in the "Object Info" window to determine the size of the container field. After you enter a numeric value for the height and width of the field, press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to update the field.
- 7). Press the "Save Layout" button at the top of the window when you are done adjusting the container field's size.
